Cancellation & Refund Policy

Order Cancellation

Orders can be cancelled free of charge before they enter production. Because each planter is made to order, cancellations requested after production has begun may incur a partial charge:

  • Within 24 hours of placing the order — full refund, no questions asked
  • After 24 hours but before dispatch — 80% refund; 20% covers material and labour already incurred
  • After dispatch — cancellation not possible; please refer to the damaged-goods section below if applicable

Damaged or Defective Goods

We take great care in packaging your planters in multiple layers of bubble wrap and reinforced boxes. However, if you receive a product in a damaged condition:

  • Take clear photographs of the damaged area immediately upon opening the package
  • Email the photographs along with your Order ID to purchase@modshell.live within 24 hours of delivery
  • Our team will review the claim and arrange either a free replacement or a full refund, at your preference
  • Claims raised after 24 hours of delivery may not be honoured, as damage cannot be verified post that window

Refund Process

Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 working days and credited back to the original payment method. UPI and net-banking refunds typically reach you in 3–5 working days; card refunds may take 7–10 working days depending on your bank.

Non-Refundable Items

Custom orders and bulk orders — where the planter has been produced to your specific colour, size, texture, or design specifications — are non-refundable unless received damaged. Please confirm all specifications carefully before placing a custom order.
